The safety helmet is composed of a hat shell and a hat lining, which are used to disperse and buffer the external kinetic energy and reduce the head bearing force to a tolerable level.
1. The cap shell The cap shell plays the first protective role against external impacts, dispersing the force and absorbing part of the kinetic energy. The top of the shell should have some strength and elasticity. The top of the cap shell is smooth and arc-shaped, which is good for dispersing force. In order to reduce weight, the top of the cap is reinforced to increase strength and elasticity.
2. Cap lining Cap lining is used to reduce the impact force and absorb the moving foot. The standard stipulates that there is a 50mm space between the cap shell and the cap liner for cushioning, preventing kinetic energy from being directly transmitted to the head. Cap lining is divided into plastic lining, nylon tape lining, cotton webbing lining. The Xiang style has one layer of top belt and two layers of top belt. It is connected to the cap shell by plastic plug, plastic or metal rivets, and the cap shell is directly drilled by nylon rope.
The principle of absorbing kinetic energy of the cap lining is as follows: (1) Each part of the material of the cap lining is deformed after being stressed, because the space between the cap shell and the cap lining is 50m III, allowing the material to extend. The densely woven material extends slowly and for a long time without hitting the top, and plays a buffering role. The soft material extends quickly, easily touches the top, cannot disperse the force, and is not safe. (2) The cap liner plug will be broken when the lining tape reaches the limit, and a reasonable break is allowed. If the lining is provided with four or six connecting plugs, 1/8 of them will break after being stressed, which will not cause the bow i to touch the top. If it is broken by 1/2, there is a danger of hitting the top. There are two layers of top belts, and one layer will not touch the top after breaking. This is allowed. (3) The plastic plug forms a scratch in the socket, which generates resistance, prolongs the impact time, and buffers the force, as shown in Figure 12-16. There should be space in the socket, so that the plug can be stressed after I. I. G- ~, produce friction.

Safety helmets should be shown in various colors for safety management. The helmets worn in hazardous work sites, factories that are not allowed to enter, and commanders should be different in color from general helmets.
